Star Wars

Skeleton Crew & Andor S2

The Force is real.

Star Wars comes with high expectations, everything we made had to feel authentic to the universe and look spectacular on screen. With Skeleton Crew, that meant concepting and delivering a 3D takeover of Piccadilly Lights with ILM and Lucasfilm. A massive creative and technical challenge, delivered under tight deadlines, that stopped central London in its tracks.

For Andor S2, similarly, we had to capture the show’s unique grit and scale, working at pace to deliver polished assets worthy of the Star Wars brand.

Both projects demanded precision, craft, creative problem solving and collaboration at the highest level, both reminding me how exciting it is to not just create for one of the biggest franchises in the world, but how tight knit teams working passionately under pressure can be one of the most rewarding experiences there is in this field.

Skeleton Crew

  • Client: Disney+ / Lucasfilm / ILM

  • Role: Senior Creative Lead

  • Type: 3D OOH / AV

  • Year: 2024

For the launch of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, we were tasked with creating a moment as bold and cinematic as the series itself. Working with ILM and Lucasfilm, we transformed London’s Piccadilly Lights into an anamorphic 3D stage, sending the show’s signature starship bursting out of the screen, rotating mid-air, and jumping into hyperspace.

  • Directed the creative concept and execution, ensuring authenticity to the Star Wars universe.

  • Led production across animation, AV, and delivery of the Piccadilly Lights takeover.

  • Edited integrated bespoke AV assets for use in-situ.

The ambition was clear: make something spectacular that lived up to the Star Wars name. Every detail was crafted for cinematic impact in a real-world setting. Tight deadlines and complex technical requirements meant precision and collaboration were critical, and we delivered without compromise.

  • Captivated hundreds of thousands of passersby during a one-week run in central London.

  • Amplified globally across Disney’s social channels, making the takeover a talking point far beyond the UK.

  • Awarded Gold at the Global Entertainment Awards, recognising it as one of the standout entertainment campaigns of the year.

Andor S2

  • Client: Disney+ / Lucasfilm / ILM

  • Role: Senior Creative Lead

  • Type: 3D OOH / AV

  • Year: 2025

For the second season of Andor, Disney needed campaign assets that reflected the series’ darker, grittier tone — a grounded story of rebellion that still carried the scale and weight of Star Wars.

  • Led creative development, edit and delivery on key asset.

  • Directed edits and motion graphics to highlight the tension and scope of the series.

  • Ensured all assets aligned with both Andor’s distinct identity and the broader Star Wars brand.

Andor demanded a different creative approach than other Star Wars campaigns. Where Skeleton Crew was spectacle, Andor was atmosphere, recreating a moment from the show which needed to be sharp, moody, and cinematic. Carrying that sense of urgency and grit, revealing the galaxy far, far away right on-top of the Outernet.

  • Achieved unthinkable turnarounds at breakneck pace.

  • Helped position the series as one of the most ambitious and critically acclaimed entries in the Star Wars franchise.

  • Strengthened ILM’s trust in our ability to adapt the Star Wars voice across very different tones and formats.
