A New Start

Client: The Pokémon Company / Netflix / BBC Role: Senior Creative Lead Type: Global Launch Campaign — AV, OOH, Social, Experiential Year: 2023

Pokémon Horizons marked the start of a brand-new era for the franchise. As Creative Lead I guided the campaign from first teaser to full takeovers — shaping launch trailers, character spots, and award-winning OOH that had to do two things at once: introduce something genuinely new, and honour a franchise fans have loved for decades.

I led creative end-to-end, directing the launch trailers, teasers, and character promos with a tone that felt bold and cinematic while staying true to the series' heart. OOH rolled out across Europe including a 3D anamorphic takeover at Piccadilly Lights and a full immersive DOOH activation at Mercedes Platz in Berlin. Global partners included the BBC in the UK and Netflix in the US, requiring careful asset alignment across broadcast and streaming.

Pokémon was already part of my life before this brief. Getting to lead the creative launch of its next chapter was one of those rare moments where personal passion and professional responsibility become the same thing.
